Clinton People Directory Landscape
Clinton has no official roster of all residents. Its useful people directories are narrower and more dependable because each records a defined connection. City pages identify public work roles. School cards show current education staff. Davis County land systems link people to parcels or recorded instruments. Utah databases identify state workers, licensees, business agents, and owners of unclaimed property. Archives and newspapers carry older names.
| Directory | People Included | Record Keeper | How to Use It |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clinton City Staff Directory | Elected officials and public-facing city staff | Clinton City | Free department browse |
| Clinton Elementary staff roster | Faculty, administrators, assistants, and service staff | Davis School District | Free name and department filters |
| Utah State Directory of Employees | State agency employees | State of Utah | Free first-and-last-name search |
| Davis County Property Search | Current and historical owners and document parties | Davis County Recorder | Free parcel interface; richer paid or counter access |
| DOPL and corporation searches | Licensed professionals, entities, and filing contacts | Utah Department of Commerce | Free official lookup |
| Clipper and archival indexes | Past residents and people named in local events | Davis County Library and Utah Archives | Digital search, catalog, or reference request |
Choose by the connection you need to prove. A city employee belongs in the municipal directory, a teacher in the school roster, and a licensed practitioner in the regulator's files. Property and history tools are not full population lists. They establish ownership, a filing role, an interment, or appearance in a dated source. That narrow scope makes each result easier to test against another record.
Current residential phone listings are the major gap. No government-published Clinton white pages were verified, and no official neighborhood, congregation, alumni, union, or chamber membership roster was found. A private list should not be treated as public merely because an organization exists.
Browse Clinton City Directories
The Clinton City Staff Directory is a free CivicPlus browse tool organized by department. Verified categories include City Council, Public Works, Recreation, and Police. Each category can show its address, main number, department link, and a staff table. The root page was not reliable enough during research to confirm a citywide name box, so department browsing is the safe method.
| Displayed Field | Control or Format | What It Contributes |
|---|---|---|
| Department/category | Linked browse list | Opens a specific department roster |
| Name | Surname, given name | Identifies the staff member |
| Title | Result column | Defines the public role |
| Work link when supplied | Provides an official contact channel | |
| Phone | Direct or shared work number | Routes a call to the person or unit |
| Additional Phone | Optional result column | Shows a second work line when posted |
A recreation entry shows the sample format well. The directory listed Brooke Mitchell by surname first, identified her as Parks & Recreation Director, supplied an email link and the department number, and left the additional-phone field blank. Zac Martinez appeared as Parks Supervisor/Cemetery Sexton with a work number. Entries expose public work identity, not home addresses, birth dates, or private phones.
If a name is absent, call the department's main line. The City Recorder can route a focused request for a city-created roster that is not posted. General Utah access rules and request steps belong with Clinton public records, not with a staff browse page.
Clinton School Directory Fields
The Clinton Elementary staff directory is the largest verified local education roster. It offers a text field that filters by staff name and a department selector. Results appear as cards rather than rows. A typical card may include a photo, full name, position title, assignment or grade, school phone, and district email. The district does not publish wildcard rules, minimum characters, export tools, or a fixed result cap.
Use the school roster for a present work affiliation, not a student history. Davis School District sites can differ from school to school, and historical yearbooks are separate records with different access limits. No exact official digitized Clinton yearbook run was verified. Clinton also has no university campus, so a regional university directory should not be presented as a directory of Clinton residents.
Note: A staff card documents a current school role and work contact, but it does not prove a person's home address.
Clinton Government Directory Layers
State and local tools answer different staff questions. The Utah State Directory of Employees requires both first and last name in practical use. It is a public work-contact tool, not a browse-all mailing list. Clinton's own roster is better for city personnel. For a state agency worker, the state phone directory is the right tier.
Transparent Utah is a separate directory of reported public compensation. It accepts a partial legal name, then filters by fiscal year, entity, employee, and position. Its source warns that results are raw, unaudited, and unconsolidated. A nickname may not match a legal name, while a short surname fragment can overmatch several names. Confirm the entity and title before deciding that two rows identify the same person.
County department contacts can route a question, but a department page is not necessarily an employee name index. Clinton is not the county seat. Davis County recorder, clerk, and archive staff work through Farmington offices even when a record concerns a Clinton address or resident.
Clinton Property Owner Directories
The Davis County Property Search works as an owner directory for Clinton parcels. It links owner name, property address, parcel or serial number, document entry number, ownership history, legal description, acreage, assessment data, and tax mailing address. An owner entry establishes a recorded property link. It does not prove that the owner lives at the site's physical, or situs, address.
REDI-Web adds searches by name, address, parcel number, or document number, along with abstracts and instrument images. A grantor transfers an interest; a grantee receives one. Searching both roles can separate people who share a name and reveal a dated chain of deeds, mortgages, and liens. Free parcel links are the first tier. Farmington public terminals, the subscription service, and Recorder copy requests are the documented fallback channels.
- Situs address
- The physical location of the parcel.
- Mailing address
- The destination selected for the owner's tax notice; it may differ from the site.
- Parcel or serial number
- The county key assigned to the land record.
- Document entry number
- The identifier for a recorded deed, mortgage, lien, or other instrument.
Note: The free interface and Recorder counter remain useful when a paid REDI-Web account is not practical for one search.
Clinton License and Business Directories
Official professional and entity tools are more precise than a broad people finder. Utah DOPL verification can identify a licensee's name, regulated profession, license number, and current status. The corporation search can return an entity name or number, type, status, registered agent, address, and filing trail where available. A registered-agent address is a legal contact point, not proof of where an owner lives or a firm operates.
The Utah business search shown here illustrates the state's official entity-search route.
The search is useful for checking a filing identity and its public contacts. Clinton Community Development separately handles city business licensing, and no verified public browse-all database of local license holders was found. State registration alone does not prove a current Clinton license.
Unclaimed property is another relationship-specific directory. The Utah Unclaimed Property search pictured below lets a person search an owner name and begin a claim through the official program.
A match means the state holds property under that owner name. It is not a current address book, and the official program does not charge a finder fee.
Clinton Clipper Name Directory
The strongest verified long-run name source is not a printed city directory. Davis County Library supplies searchable Davis County Clipper back issues from 1892 through 1992. A century of newspapers can reveal obituaries, marriage notices, school and club activity, advertisements, probate notices, civic lists, and address changes. Each hit is tied to an issue date, which helps distinguish names repeated across generations.
Search spelling variants, initials, and maiden names. Optical character recognition, or OCR, turns page images into searchable text, but it can break a faded surname or merge columns. When a name query fails, browse issues near a known event date and inspect the page image. A notice is a dated lead, not final proof of every fact it states.
These Davis County Library digital resources show the gateway used for the verified Clipper run and other research databases.
The library gateway is the dependable historical starting point because its newspaper span is published. Other databases may require a Davis County card or login.
Clinton Library Directory Coverage
Two library locations divide practical access. The Syracuse Branch is expressly listed as serving Clinton and offers catalog help, scanning, interlibrary loan, and public computers. Farmington Headquarters holds the system's locked-case Davis County and Utah collection and the only listed public microfilm viewing and scanning workstation. Neither branch page publishes a title-by-title run of local city, telephone, reverse, or school directories.

Ask staff to search by Clinton, Davis County, surname, cemetery, school, telephone directory, city directory, and yearbook. Use the official library locations listing before planning a visit. The correct statement is that staff and the catalog can check those formats. There is no verified local directory or yearbook year run beyond the Clipper's published coverage.
Clinton Cemetery Directory Route
Clinton cemetery records form the most local historic people directory found. The Utah Archives cemetery guide lists Clinton cemetery records from 1906 onward as series 84754 and marks the series for online access. A record may connect a decedent with an interment, plot ownership, burial place, or family cluster, but the exact entry fields should be checked before drawing a conclusion.
The city splits cemetery expertise across two staff directories. Public Works lists a Cemetery Records Clerk, while Recreation lists the Cemetery Sexton. Both roles use the city work number 801-614-0870. That two-desk route matters because no verified Clinton interment search box was found. If an online name is missing, ask with a full name, approximate death or burial date, plot owner, or space.
Historical Clinton Directory Timeline
Clinton names appear in layers created by different offices. Early county files are centered in Farmington because Davis County was organized before Clinton developed its own municipal record series. The milestones below show when a search should move from county books to a city-level register, a newspaper run, or a modern portal.
| 1850 | Davis County Recorder dates its land-record stewardship to this year. |
|---|---|
| 1870 | The Recorder describes its historical land-book collection as beginning here; ask about a specific earlier series rather than assuming a total gap. |
| 1892-1992 | The verified searchable Davis County Clipper run spans these years. |
| 1898-1905 | The Utah Archives Davis County birth-register index links names to register images. |
| 1906 onward | Clinton cemetery series 84754 provides a city-level burial and plot record trail. |
| 1907-1911 | Clinton District Registrar birth registers supply an unusually local vital-statistics source. |
| 1981 | Recorder computerization and microfilming began, leading toward today's layered digital and book access. |
| 2026 | Utah Archives reported a new finding aid for the Clinton district birth registers. |
The new Clinton birth-register finding aid directs researchers to Archives Reference Room access. Printed phone, reverse, and yearbook holdings remain unverified. No current official residential white pages were found, and no exact directory or yearbook run should be inferred from the presence of a catalog, locked case, or microfilm machine.
